The Terborgseweg winds like a river through the landscape between Varsseveld and Terborg. The country house, built in T-shape, that we are looking at today is close to Varsseveld. Naturally known as the birthplace of Guus Hiddink, former national team coach of Orange, but especially of South Korea during the 2002 World Cup there. Hiddink was practically worshipped there and his Varsseveld immediately became a place of pilgrimage for traveling Koreans. Besides, Varsseveld is simply a very pleasant place with a fine center and all the amenities you could wish for, including the nearby sports park, tennis club and train station.

THAT GARDEN ... BLISSFUL!
Waking up to the cozy sound of birds singing. You grab the morning paper and walk to the back and look out over the meadows to the grazing cows that look at you good-naturedly. The coffee tastes great again and the morning sun makes life light and pleasant. Approvingly, you walk through the grass, the dew makes it smell extra nice, and you take a leap over the robotic mower. You collect an egg and pick a raspberry. Life couldn't be more different. You enjoy peace and quiet here. Outdoor living seems invented here, which is why we start outside. We dutifully leave the sprinkler system off.

The unique plot tapers backwards. How much you can enjoy expressive cloudscapes and magnificent sunsets here. You understand why the sellers have a lovely Jacuzzi under the canopy. What an experience and delight. You have nice spots and opportunities for a vegetable garden, food forest or a tea garden everywhere. Do you like animals? They can also enjoy themselves here. Not to mention the animals that scurry around uninvited, such as the hedgehog that makes its way out, the spotted woodpecker that sets up a carpentry project or the squirrel that runs off like a hare. The smell of flowers and freshly cut grass is almost addictive. Of course there is plenty of on-site parking. We walk around the house and see how carefully and thoughtfully everything is laid out and arranged. Later we will take another tour at our leisure. Now first look inside and see, feel and embrace the space. We are ready for it.

PEACE, SPACE AND LUXURY UNDER ONE ROOF
We start our tour through the attached garden room. This is spacious in size and the glass doors give a formidable view everywhere. On the floor tiles. The wood stove ensures that you will soon sit here. In this room are many unforgettable hours spent. The mobile BBQ worked overtime here. We step over the threshold and enter the garden-oriented living room. Wonderfully wide and also here lots of light and attractive views. This space flows naturally into the open kitchen with built-in appliances (including a cooker with sparkling water). In our notebook we write that there is a beautiful post-stone floor and that the room and suitedoors have stained glass (between both living rooms). Walking further, we see on the right the practical utility room with door to the outside. To the left is the guest room with a chic fireplace. On the floor a solid oak floor, skillfully laid in herringbone. We can go through this room to the office, but we'll save that part for later. In the hall we see a spacious toilet with extra urinal. We seek the lower and descend. To the ideal basement room. Dry, high and with plenty of room to stock up. Behind the door is the technical room. A heat pump, a large hot water tank, a distributor for the underfloor heating and a water softener. Last but not least, the collection vessel for the central vacuum system.

We take the lazy stairs to the second floor. A distinguished landing with closet wall, technical room (again, distributors for underfloor heating in the bathrooms), a guest toilet, the second bathroom with shower and sink. The bedrooms are all different and large. With walk-in closets, four of them. The master bedroom is in the back, what a space! Again, walk-in closets and a private bathroom with bathtub, shower, toilet and double sink. We go up another floor. Here a large open attic in T-shape. With washer and dryer connections. Possibility for another room.

A TOUR OF THE FRONT HOUSE
We start in the beautiful hall with stained glass windows. The meter cupboard is impressive. We briefly take a seat in the waiting room and enjoy the spacious front view. Slowly we move through both spacious office spaces. To the left we see a copy room. If you want to turn this into an indoor home for parents or child, you can set up the waiting room as a bedroom. One office space as a kitchen. The other as a bedroom. And turn the copy room into the bathroom.

NOT JUST A SHED
In front, the space under the roof can accommodate two cars. There is a charging point for electric cars and a point for pumping groundwater. The barn space is built in cavity with 2x French doors and door to the side. Concrete floor, nice height. Fixed stairs lead to a huge attic space. At the rear a roof. The barn is very solidly built with insulated cavity walls, except for the non-insulated roof.

COMFORT AND LUXURY
The house was built under architecture. Thoughtful and multifunctional. You enjoy the look and finish. Energy label A ++ and, as mentioned, gasless. Plastic frames and HR + glass. Two wood-burning fireplaces, two bathrooms, four toilets. Equipped with underfloor heating and ceiling cooling. There is an alarm system, fiberglass and screens. Many windows also have screens. Downstairs solid interior doors have been installed. On the walls almost everywhere paintable glass fleece wallpaper. In order to make optimal use of the geothermal heat, six pipelines were driven 65 meters into the ground. Contractor Bruggink from Heelweg delivered the house rock solid.
